The Celtic Lodge of Edinburgh & Leith 291

Brother Dave Garthley R.W.M.

Bro. Dave Garthley R.W.M. The Celtic Lodge 291Brother Dave Garthley R.W.M.
On behalf of all the Brethren I would extend our appreciation to Brother Alistair Easson PM for his guidance during the past two years as our Right Worshipful Master.

Also, a special expression of gratitude to Brother Robert Redpath PM and Secretary for the momentous amount of time and effort securing the fabric of the Building and local aspects of the Lodge. Praise also to Brother William J.R. Boland PM for his organising skills.

I am again appreciative of the faith the Brethren of the Celtic Lodge Edinburgh and Leith No 291 have placed in me by selecting me as the Right Worshipful Master for the ensuing year 2017-2018.

I am of course conscious that any Lodge does not function purely on the actions of the Reigning Master. It is by the cumulative input of all its Members is demonstrative of a successful Lodge.

We are fortunate in the Celtic Lodge to have many talented Freemasons by way of experienced Past Masters Dedicated Honorary Members and enthusiastic bright young men who are the future leaders. With such Brethren, I am certain we can propel the Lodge in the true direction and continue to maintain the traditions fulfilling the expectations of out predecessors of this long established Masonic Lodge of Edinburgh and Leith No 291.
